Nestled along the banks of the Glenelg River are ten canoe camps that cater specifically for canoeists. All camps have toilet facilities and fresh water is available. A maximum of 20 persons per campsite promotes privacy, and peaceful camping.


There are also two large car/caravan/tenting camping areas and a number of smaller multi-purpose campsites. All of the canoe campsites are within the Lower Glenelg National Park and require Parks Victoria camping permits (Parks Vic, Nelson Ph: (08) 8738 4051). However, Paestan Canoe Hire can assist clients in obtaining permits.
